Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information the MoonsSecurityLLC verification system collects, why it is collected, how it is used, and your rights. The policy applies whenever you use the verification flow.

2. Data collected

2.1 Discord information (via OAuth2)

When you authorize with Discord, we receive the following information:

• Username and discriminator
• User ID
• Avatar identifier / URL
• A temporary access token (used only to fetch account details and not stored long-term)

2.2 IP address

We collect the IP address associated with your verification request. Its purpose is limited to security checks such as VPN/proxy detection and abuse prevention.

Important: The IP address is used only for security and research into abuse patterns. It is never sold, shared, or disclosed to external parties. The only person who can view this information is the system owner for security purposes.

2.3 VPN / proxy detection

Your IP may be checked against a third-party IP intelligence provider. Only a simple yes/no result is recorded to block abuse.

2.4 Timeout and block records

When a VPN/proxy or abusive pattern is detected, a temporary block entry is stored in the system’s KV store containing:

• Discord User ID
• Block expiration timestamp

3. How data is used

• Verification & role assignment: Discord data is used to confirm identity and assign the verification role via the bot.
• Security & abuse prevention: IP and VPN/proxy status are used to prevent circumvention and protect the community.
• Administrative logging: Verification events (username, discriminator, ID, IP in spoiler format, VPN status) are sent to an internal webhook for moderation.

4. Data retention

• Temporary KV blocks: kept until expiration
• Webhook logs: persist in Discord subject to Discord retention policies
• Access tokens: discarded after use, never stored long-term

5. Data sharing

We do not sell or trade your information. Third parties involved are:

• Discord — OAuth and role assignment
• IP intelligence provider — VPN/proxy status only

No external parties have access to IPs, Discord IDs, or personal data.

6. Access and removal requests

Requests to remove blocks, delete logs, or view stored data can be submitted to the system owner or MoonsSecurityLLC administration team.

7. Security

Access to sensitive information is strictly limited to the system owner and secured appropriately.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated; continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
